For as long as I can remember my dream car has been a white Corvette with red guts. Even as a child that was the car that would turn my head in pure excitement. I saw one of the first 2014 Corvettes with my dream color combination on the interstate last week while driving through Tennessee.
To say that Chevrolet nailed it would be an understatement. I believe this car looks like “hell on wheels” with a triple shot of espresso. Looking at it is amazing.
Now, the real $64,000 question for Chevy dealers — with the “Stingray” coming out in October, will dealers decide to sell these gems for thousands over sticker prices or create better loyalty among owners and sell at true MSRP? While there is an opportunity to make some serious money for dealers with this car, there is also an opportunity to present this as a true “halo car” for Chevrolet.
