The days are counting down to football season kicking off and it’s always great to see the enthusiasm of the coaches and players – all undefeated, all with hopes of a championship season.
This is a great time to sell your sales team and entire dealership on the positives of a new season – not only are inventory levels going to climb back up, but new 2012 models will be coming out. There are going to be more people showing up on the lots, and in a word, your people need to be ‘pumped’.
Put a bonus up for overall MVP, set up a special ‘All Star Performance’ program for September through the end of the year. Don’t laugh, but top sales could be the “Highs Man’ award.
And my prediction is the 4th quarter of this year is going to be a game-breaker, so have your team ready.
