I am a firm believer in advertising a price when it comes to the most compelling features of a new vehicle.
While cursing the Internet tonight searching different automotive sites I found an online display ad for a 2013 Dodge Dart. The car was lipstick red over a black background. The typesetting was very well done with red and white letters over black backgrounds. Yet, the most compelling thing that I found about this ad was that it was a factory ad with a giant price point.
Plain as day it had “2013 Dodge Dart MSRP of $15,995.” This ad didn’t say starting at and it didn’t say discounted to. What a great job by Dodge for making it so effective by just having a great price point listed.
Now, here’s one of the most effective tier three Dodge dealer ads that generates traffic using the same method.
