Sell every single car you have and do not worry about what happens when you run out. I doubt anyone will run completely out of cars, but if you did – wouldn’t it be fun to say that you sold everything the factory sent you? Plan direct mail back to your owner body to buy trades to restock your used car inventory. September will be a lighter new car month in units than August… but guess what – it always is. Make a plan to aggressively buy back vehicles from your owners and buy everything you can from auction. You need to be sitting on your greatest used car inventory in the last 12 months to be ready to keep the momentum going in September.
