True Car and its CEO Scott Painter have been getting ripped for their business model and supposed “great customer experience” model. Some will argue that it’s not good for the automotive industry to let a vendor get in between a dealer and it’s customer. We maintain that there would be no great customer experience without great dealers. Spending money to drive ANY business ANYWHERE but to your own website, just doesn’t makes sense. Afterall, isn’t that what’s happening, $399 at a time?
