National Automotive Redemption Centers – A “Cash for Clunkers” Success

While most dealers who actively participated in “Cash for Clunkers” saw good sales and profit months in July and August, Strong is able to report our dealers fared even better. Our final results show dealers who engaged in the trademarked “National Automotive Redemption Center” (NARC) programs were able to increase gross profit that EXCEEDED market averages due to targeting lower funnel / credit challenged customers. While this program was not a fit for all dealers, images and demographics – the ‘credit criminals’ came out in full force to see their NARC dealers. The additional $3000 was only given on select vehicles to customers who qualified, but it made the phones ring!
